Mr. Xiaoguang Cui started his practice in IP in 1984 and is one of the first patent attorneys in China. He has extensive experience and exceptional capability in handling IP cases, particularly experienced in IP administrative and infringement litigation and patent prosecution.
Mr. Cui has represented many domestic and international clients in patent infringement litigation in the fields of chemistry, mechanics and electronics, such as Panasonic, Ericsson, Glaxosmithkline, Saurer, Oerlikon, etc.
Mr. Cui is a pioneer in defensive publication and IP commercialization by founding a China Intellectual Property Publication website and the China Patent License and Transfer website back in 2010.
In his over 40 years’ practice in IP, Mr. Cui has served in several big Chinese IP firms, including CCPIT Patent and Trademark Firm as Manager of its Patent Application Department, China Patent Agency (Hong Kong) as Manager of the Legal Department, China Sinda Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. as Vice President and Beijing Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. as General Manager.
Mr. Cui was the executive director of the National Association of Patent Attorneys and the president of Beijing Patent Attorneys Association.
He has been frequently invited to deliver speeches at IP seminars in Japan, Korea, the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland, etc. on the IPR law changes and the latest progress of IPR protection in China in the legislation and practice.
